Theo Walcott was replaced 66 minutes into Everton’s 2-2 draw with Watford in the Premier League on Monday night.

There have been calls for Ademola Lookman to replace Walcott in Everton’s starting XI, but for now, Toffees boss Marco Silva is keeping faith with the Englishman.

Walcott – a January arrival from Arsenal – has only scored twice in the Premier League this season, with his last goal coming way back in August.

The 29-year-old’s form in recent weeks has been indifferent at best, and the Everton fans were not pleased with what they saw from him on Monday night.

Walcott found it difficult to get into the contest at Goodison Park, and it was not a surprise to see him replaced shortly after Watford took a 2-1 lead.
