Before City beat Tottenham 2-0 to leapfrog them above Premier League leaders Arsenal, goalkeeper Ederson had his number leaked, prompting a host of Gunners fans to text the Brazilian. However, Pep Guardiola's men had the last laugh as they won at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday.

He posted in an Instagram story a number of texts he appeared to receive from Arsenal fans, and wrote: "My number was leaked and I had some funny messages."

One user wrote: "Hello you beautiful Brazilian god, how much for a good night tonight?"

Another text read: "Don't let in any howlers tonight you sh*tttteerrrr Up the Arsenal."

They sit two points ahead of Mikel Arteta's side with just one match of the campaign remaining.
