ESPN report that the Argentinian is set to miss City's Group G decider against Juventus after picking up an ankle injury in the 6-0 rout of Al Ain on Sunday, a blow which has seen him require crutches. The 19-year-old was unable to train with his team-mates on Monday or Tuesday.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The injury comes as a blow to Echeverri, who scored his first goal for the club – an excellent free-kick – in that Al Ain victory, before coming off at half-time. With summer signing Rayan Cherki added to an attacking midfield group already featuring Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva, he will not want a spell on the sidelines to see him fall behind the competition.
